Musings during Pandemic #32

With never-ending movement control orders of various kinds, I have accepted the new normal together with it’s abnormal and illogical rules. I have accepted that I can co-exist with a virus nicknamed Covid-19 without getting paranoid about it.

What sometimes irritates and tickles my funny-bone is that how the “virus paranoia” is affecting the sense of logic of some people – resulting in ridiculous rules and blanket laws under the title of something called SOPs.

For some, there seems to be a mindset that Covid-19 can determine and actually take someone’s life. Only God determines and controls death – what we die of is a separate matter.

My life and my tomorrows are in God’s hands – Mt 6:34 says “do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself.”

Prayer:
Dearest Lord, I surrender my tomorrows to You, for You are always in control, and without You, I can do nothing.
Thank You Lord, for everything.
Amen.
