John 5:17-30
圣若望福音 5:17-30
In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus reminds me that no son or daughter, or anyone for that matter, can do anything on their own. This teaches me that, no matter what, I must always seek God and place my utmost faith and trust in Him. Too often, we have been neglectful in our trust, turning to God only when we are in need of His grace and mercy. May that bad habit change, and may we learn to seek Him at all times, in all circumstances, so that it becomes a good and unwavering habit.
John 5:24 promises that every soul who believes will have eternal life. If we put our trust in God and His miracles, we will receive the gift of eternity with Him.
Take a moment in prayer to ask the Lord: ‘What are You revealing to me through this Gospel?’ Be open to His voice and allow His Word to transform your heart.
在今天的福音中，耶稣提醒我，没有儿子、女儿或任何一个人能够独自完成一件事的。这也教导我无论如何，一定要寻求天主的旨意并全心全意信赖及依靠祂。 很多时候我们没有信靠天主, 而只在有需要时才转向天主，寻求祂的仁慈与怜悯。希望我们能够改掉这种恶习；让我们学习于无时无刻,无论在任何环境中都寻求天主；使之成为我们坚定不移的良好习惯。
在若望福音第五章二十四节，耶稣承诺：「凡听我的话，相信派遣我来者的，便有永生，不受审判，而已出死入生。」倘若我们全心信赖天主及祂的奇迹异事，那么我们将蒙受与主同住永生的恩典。
让我们静默祈祷，“主，祢藉着这段福音要告诉我什么信息呢？”我们打开心门聆听并接受主的声音，让主的话语改变我们的心。
