圣若望福音 7: 40-52
“This is really the prophet” “This is the Messiah” “Surely the Messiah does not come from Galilee, does he?”
In this particular Gospel, I noticed that many were confused about Jesus’ identity. Some believed he was a prophet, while others questioned him. Some were even hostile toward his actions. What is clear is that they were all awaiting the Messiah. Despite all the evidence pointing to Jesus, many still failed to acknowledge him. This makes me wonder—did they truly desire to find him? Even today, are we genuinely seeking him? We may have all the signs and knowledge of his presence and existence, yet we often lack the desire to search for and accept him. Are we truly following Christ, or are we merely following Christianity?
Take a moment in prayer to ask the Lord: ‘What are You revealing to me through this Gospel?’ Be open to His voice and allow His Word to transform your heart.
「这人真是那位先知。」「这人是默西亚。」「难道默西亚能来自加里肋亚吗？」
从这段福音中，我看见许多人对耶稣真正的身份模糊不清。当被问起时，有些人认为祂只是一位先知。有些人甚至对祂的举止怀有敌意。很明显，他们都在等待默西亚的到来。尽管所有凭据都倾向耶稣，但许多人仍然不承认他。这让我觉得很好奇——他们真的想找到祂吗？即使在今天，我们真的在寻找祂吗？我们或许拥有祂临在的所有迹象和认知，但我们往往缺乏寻找和接受祂的意愿。我们是真正随耶稣基督还是跟随这宗教？
让我们静默祈祷，“主，祢藉着这段福音要告诉我什么信息呢？”我们打开心门聆听并接受主的声音，让主的话语改变我们的心。
