Matthew 26:14-25
In today’s Gospel reading, God teaches me that betrayal doesn’t always come from strangers; it can actually come from the people we are closest to.
It also made me realise that our choices matter. Just as Judas made a decision and faced its consequences, the same goes for me—every decision has its consequences, whether good or bad. I learnt that we have to take responsibility for our actions and not blame others or ignore what we’ve done.
This reading also made me realise how important it is to be honest and to trust others in my relationships. At the same time, it reminded me that sometimes things happen that I may not understand straight away, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t in control.
Even when life seems difficult or unfair, I’ve learnt that I should put my trust in God. I might not see the full picture now, but I believe God has a plan for me.
Take a moment in prayer to ask the Lord: ‘What are You revealing to me through this Gospel?’ Be open to His voice and allow His Word to transform your heart.
