John 13:1-15
When I read this verse, I’m deeply moved by Jesus’ humility. He had every right to be served—He is the Lord and Teacher—yet He chose to kneel and wash the feet of His disciples. It challenges me to rethink how I treat others. Am I willing to humble myself, to serve without expecting anything in return?
Jesus wasn’t just giving a lesson in hospitality; He was showing me what love looks like in action. If He, my Lord, could take on the role of a servant, then I have no excuse. I’m called to serve others with the same heart—without pride, without hesitation, and without conditions. This verse reminds me that following Jesus means living a life of humble service, even in the small, unnoticed moments.
Take a moment in prayer to ask the Lord: ‘What are You revealing to me through this Gospel?’ Be open to His voice and allow His Word to transform your heart.
